We were recently given the opportunity to create the branding collateral for a writer out of Los Angeles named Leslie Poston. Because of Leslie's unique approach to her craft, we knew we couldn't half step on the overall design for her new company's image.
We designed the logo, business cards, and website (www.postonprose.com) Just like every design process, this took a while but both parties are happy with the end result, and that is all that matters! Take a look below and let me know what you think. Business Cards:
We had a great opportunity to produce video announcements for our church (IMPACT Church). Our producer wanted them shot on green screen to make the announcements more interactive. We used two fill lights to light the screen and a key light to light our subject. The rest was all done in post production. Most of the graphics were pre-designed. We used Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop to get the final piece. Check out the before and after below: BEFORE:
Happy New Year! It's 2011 and we are excited to announce our new branding! After 5 years with the old logo, website, and business cards, we decided to step our game up and get with the times!
Check out the newly designed logo and cards above. Shout out to Brian with Artkitect for turning my vision into a reality with the new logo and cards. T-shirts and stickers coming soon!

Last month, the One Music Fest was held at the King Plow Arts Center here in Atlanta, GA. KRJ Productions had exclusive behind the scenes access. Peep a candid interview with Common and Kenny Burns followed by a clip from Common's performance below. If you want to view the video larger, visit: http://www.vimeo.com/13944174
This video was done for Father's Day at IMPACT Church. We headed out to Charlie Brown Airport here in Atlanta, GA to film the interviews. When I first got the assignment, I thought it would be a cool project. But when we actually sat in on the story, it was so inspirational that I felt like this video had to turn out amazing, because the story is just that... AMAZING.
The Alexanders started the ACE program, The Aviation Career Enrichment weekend flight academy. This program launched in 1980 and is still going strong. Many of the African American pilots that are flying today, have gone through this program and crossed paths with the aviation legend, Julius Alexander.
Not only does Mr. Alexander teach aspiring pilots how to fly, but he taught his son and his grandson how to fly as well!!! Now how cool is that? Check out the video.
The African American Dance Review Season II production (The Progressive Realization of Dreams) ran from January 28-31, 2010 and February 4-6, 2010 at the historic Rialto Center for the Arts - Georgia State University in Atlanta.
The production consisted of approximately 12 performances (or scenes) and covered multiple genres of African American dance. This show is truely something that you have to see for yourself. KRJ Productions was charged with capturing this electrifying show for final output on DVD. We filmed 3 shows, and took the best of the 3 shows and edited the show down to one master show.
The dancers are amazingly talented and the producers were on point with every aspect of the performance. Shout out to Hipnotik Productions for providing the voice over and music for this trailer.
The night before Halloween, Sol-Fusion and Coors Light put together a memorable event. This was a hilarious party at STRIP in Atlantic Station. But what made the party easy to edit was the amount of people that dressed in costume and really came to party. Mary J Blidge, Sho-Nuff (The Last Dragon), Jerome, Otis, Cat Woman, Mike Vick and his Dog, Jermaine Jackson, Penny from Good Times, and Austin Powers, just a name a few, were in the building. Peep the vid, it is hella funny.
Last month, KRJ Productions proudly supported Breast Cancer Research as the official videographers for Triple Pink Foundation'sWe Want a Cure Wii Game Tournament.
Triple Pink was created to increase awareness about triple negative breast cancers, one of the most aggressive forms of breast cancer. This type of breast cancer primarily affects young women under the age of 40. However, African-American women appear to be disproportionately affected.
The event was held at Straits Restaurant in Midtown Atlanta. Lots of supporters came out for music, food and of course, to get their game on with the Wii!! There was also a silent auction and a raffle for two round-trip AirTran airline tickets to anywhere in the continental US.
Here is a promo piece I designed for Sole Addiction Shoes. It is being used for their Los Angeles, CA clients as a email blast. You can check out their site, they have some pretty cool shoes for women. Too bad they don't have shoes for the fellas, but you never know what the future holds :)
Last month we covered an MJ Tribute at Opera Atlanta. The event was pretty tight, complete with live paintings of MJ by some of ATL's dopest artists: Fabian Williams and Fahamu Pecou. Kemit, Salah, and Applejack kept the party people dancing.
What I did with the video was take some old MJ footage from VHS, convert it to digital and throw some filters on it to alter the image a bit. For example, the young lady mentioned Michael moonwalking on Motown 25, so just by chance I had that footage. I cut it in as she is talking about moonwalk then BAAAM!
Sooo, if you have old VHS footage, family videos, or your wedding, just remember, KRJ Productions can convert your video to whatever format you need, just email info@krjproductions.com for video conversion rates. Peep the vid, and comment please.
