Behind the Scenes @ IMPACT Easter Services

Each and every Sunday our production team transforms the auditorium of Brown Middle School into the most awesome worship experiences for IMPACT Church. Last Sunday, being Easter, we had an additional service at 6am. This was not popular amongst us production folks, but everyone pitched in and made it happen. I just wanted to share some behind the scenes shots of what our Sundays look like.

March 29, 2011 I was fortunate to film the Ultimate Wedding Proposal/Engagement Party. Andre planned this proposal out to a "T". I don't think he missed a single detail. Live Music, DJ, food, photos of their courtship, OMG Photo Booth, friends and family. It was lights, camera, action!

Gonna be hard to top this one, fellas!

Check out the video below:

Here are some bloopers to show you just how much fun the actual party was:

Oh Yes, they're here!!!

No I am not talking about the Dream Team... New Plotter Cut KRJ stickers!!!! It's no mystery that I am a real huge sticker freak. So I was sitting back thinking.... I should get some KRJ Productions stickers made with the new logo and website. Called up the dudes at Contagious Graphics and they made it happen! They came out even better than I expected. So I had to remove my beloved Adidas sticker to make room for the new KRJ joint right on the hand rest of my Macbook Pro and my external hard drive. Check out the flicks!

Kelei Bishop Football Highlight Reel!!!

Kelei Bishop is back on the scene with a highlight video displaying his football skills. This dude was only 8 and 9 years old when this footage was taken, and as you can see below, he is dominating the game. He plays several positions on the field and excels at them all. Enough of my talking, you just have to see this for yourself:

Poston Prose is here!!!

We were recently given the opportunity to create the branding collateral for a writer out of Los Angeles named Leslie Poston. Because of Leslie's unique approach to her craft, we knew we couldn't half step on the overall design for her new company's image.

We designed the logo, business cards, and website (www.postonprose.com) Just like every design process, this took a while but both parties are happy with the end result, and that is all that matters! Take a look below and let me know what you think.

Green Screen Announcements

We had a great opportunity to produce video announcements for our church (IMPACT Church). Our producer wanted them shot on green screen to make the announcements more interactive. We used two fill lights to light the screen and a key light to light our subject. The rest was all done in post production. Most of the graphics were pre-designed. We used Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop to get the final piece. Check out the before and after below:

Documentary Trailer featured on Creative Loafing!!!

Ok, I will admit, I am a little late on this, but I just found this myself! We produced a trailer for the Sole Plus documentary "Away From the Sole: Peachtree & Trinity" Produced by High Impact Multimedia.

Our trailer also served as a teaser for the "Art Sole Life" event. Bobby Feingold with Creative Loafing wrote an article on Sole Plus Founder, Brian Miller and embedded the trailer we produced in the article. Check it out here: Heart and "SOLE"

So Fly (Ft. The Alexanders)

This video was done for Father's Day at IMPACT Church. We headed out to Charlie Brown Airport here in Atlanta, GA to film the interviews. When I first got the assignment, I thought it would be a cool project. But when we actually sat in on the story, it was so inspirational that I felt like this video had to turn out amazing, because the story is just that... AMAZING.

The Alexanders started the ACE program, The Aviation Career Enrichment weekend flight academy. This program launched in 1980 and is still going strong. Many of the African American pilots that are flying today, have gone through this program and crossed paths with the aviation legend, Julius Alexander.

Not only does Mr. Alexander teach aspiring pilots how to fly, but he taught his son and his grandson how to fly as well!!! Now how cool is that? Check out the video.

African American Dance Review 2010

The African American Dance Review Season II production (The Progressive Realization of Dreams) ran from January 28-31, 2010 and February 4-6, 2010 at the historic Rialto Center for the Arts - Georgia State University in Atlanta.

The production consisted of approximately 12 performances (or scenes) and covered multiple genres of African American dance. This show is truely something that you have to see for yourself. KRJ Productions was charged with capturing this electrifying show for final output on DVD. We filmed 3 shows, and took the best of the 3 shows and edited the show down to one master show.

The dancers are amazingly talented and the producers were on point with every aspect of the performance. Shout out to Hipnotik Productions for providing the voice over and music for this trailer.
