This was by far one of the best NYE parties I have attended. Kudos to RAAP and the crew for hosting a wonderful event. My girls and I will hold ATL down again in 2010!

First my thanks to the wonderful staff working the event (will call, greeters and the lady running around). Very professional individuals; for all their hard work.
This was far the best party in the ATL. As your party grows RAAP Network needs to work on some small glitches (will call, food, bar lines) are to name a few. I will attend the next event but hope that RAAP will have will call a day or so before (makes life easier)we come to party not stand in lines. Also need bigger room for the 80's, it's way too small for Art Terrell. Wanda Smith WOW. Nice touch with the Comdey. Ken Ford great touch- wish I could have seen him.
Just my thoughts- over all OFF DA CHAIN!

My husband and I recently moved to the ATL metro area and didn't know what to do for the New Year. We are so glad that we found out about this party. It was off the chain!!!! Totally worth it. The fact that it was at a hotel and we stayed there was a plus. No drinking and driving. Each room was partying. The comedy show was the bomb. We danced like 6 hours straight and I had on 3 inch heels. You know I was hurting the next day :-). But we kicked it. Paying for the open bar was worth it. No long lines and they were premium drinks. Nice crowd, no thugs, just partying people. No fighting, no arguing, just good clean fun and partying. Wanda Smith was the best!! We will most definitely be wherever RAAP is next year !!!!

Me and my girls were pleasantly surprised with the event. We were 'warned' that RAAP Network parties are geared toward the over 40 crowd. We didn't want drama, or party around gun shots or saggin pants so we took a chance (ages 23-27) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Although we didn't venture into the other rooms, the main ballroom had a good music mix and the open bar wristbands helped as well :-). Only suggestion I'd have for picking up wristbands/tickets would be to have laptops or not have so many lists to check for names. One young lady took FOREVER to find our names b/c she was looking over 3 or 4 lists. Happy New Year!

Talk about taking 2008 out with a BANG!!! NYE in the Atl Westin was off the RICHTER SCALE!!!!!! My girl and I had a blast visiting all of the ballrooms; all drinks were premium; the crowd was diverse and attractive!!! We can not stop talking about how much fun we had!!! I am looking forward to NYE in the Atl 2009!! I'll see you there!!!!!!!!

It was the best party to date. One small comment would be and nothing against the ladies at the will call tables. RAAP Network should have wristband pick up earlier in the day. People attending the party should only be buying wrist bands the day of...this was the only problem I encountered and would possible have me not attend again. I have been coming since this party was at the Crowne Plaza and still the same problems each year.
Otherwise it's worth the money especially if you correct the will call area and correct the problem with midnight breakfast buffet. Was misleading and a few of us was hungry.
Good luck in the future- HOLLA!

Happy New Year!
This was truly a PARTAAAEEEEE!!! I'm not really fond of bringing in the New Year with a bunch of strangers, but I wanted to try something new this year and I'm sooooo glad I did. Rob, having the staff meet and greet before the event was great. You took good care of us. The ladies were fun and easy to work with. Your hard work did not go unnoticed. Deb, thanks for always being available and all your hard work, you definitely held it down. My girls and I had FUN! FUN! FUN! This was def. a CLASSY EVENT for the GROWN & SEXY. I enjoyed being a part of the team and would gladly do it again. If you need me in the future...holla at ya girl :) The party lived up to it's name the best "DANN NYE in ATL!!!" Hope to see everyone at Super Bowl :)

Overall this could have been a must better party. Still the same problems every year (misleading about food/pre-party mixer-food, mis-leading and etc).

Blah, Blah..Blah!

This was my 3rd NYE and my LAST! I purchased the VIP pacakage for myself and guests. We did not recieve VIP status. We were treated as 2nd class citizens. Maninly from the unfriendly Westin hotel staff! For the price we paid for VIP we got NOTHING but alcohol and pieces of picked over food/or none left. And you could only recieve one drink at a time. What a waste of time and energy standing in line (slow bartendars throughout the entire hotel) for one drink at a time.

Who's the person over this event that didn't do a better job in organizating????? The food in the VIP room was out/empty many times. When a few of us inquired about the food; we was told that was it and no more will be brought out. This was told to many of us from a staff at the hotel.

Myself/group- ended up taking the shuttle to a local resturant and getting something to eat. We spent together over $200 additional on top of the tickets we purchased. For this type of money we could have thrown our own party; had food and etc.

I can say for me I will never return back to NYE in the ATL again.

To the folks putting this party on; most people coming to this event will not take time to complain or express their concerns. They will just tell others. The word of mouth is most powerful.

Hopefully this will be a piece of information that will be well used in the planning for the future events.

Thanks and Happy New Year!

Unhappy, your accusations of Westin Staff and mis-leading info are completely false. You apparently Mis-read.
We are grateful yet regret this was your last time attendng this event. Happy New Year.

I have attended a lot of NYE events over the years and I must say that RAAPNetwork has set the bar for what I want at an event of this magnitude. With 5 party rooms, live entertainment, comedy shows, upscale hotel, professional crowd, awesome DJs and radio personality hosts.
I must say, RAAPNetwork put together the absolute best NYE Party I could have imagined. With Wanda Smith V103, Art Terrell Kiss104, Phillipia, Ken Ford, Joey Summerville, Julie Dexter and several Comedians, all performing LIVE!
For me and my crew, NYE in the ATL 2009 was The Absolute BEST!!
We will surely be at NYE in the ATL 2010...

My friends and I had a wonderful time. We usually don't do big events because of some many things that could go wrong. We can say that this was a great party, we are ready for 2010 NYE!

...Great Classy Party...where are the event pictures? My only complaint would be the breakfast buffet mislead. We were under the impression that it would be free. Otherwise, friendly folks, good drinks, and great music!

Thanks for best new years party to date. I only have one problem with the event. NO food...very mis-printed about the food at midnight. Also the price of the food was over priced.
Hotel lovely, will call ladies lovely, everyone outstanding.
We will return this year and will eat before we arrive.
It's on and POPPIN.....
