KRJ Productions joins the fight!

Last month, KRJ Productions proudly supported Breast Cancer Research as the official videographers for Triple Pink Foundation's We Want a Cure Wii Game Tournament.

Triple Pink was created to increase awareness about triple negative breast cancers, one of the most aggressive forms of breast cancer. This type of breast cancer primarily affects young women under the age of 40. However, African-American women appear to be disproportionately affected.

The event was held at Straits Restaurant in Midtown Atlanta. Lots of supporters came out for music, food and of course, to get their game on with the Wii!! There was also a silent auction and a raffle for two round-trip AirTran airline tickets to anywhere in the continental US.

Video coming soon!!!!

Just AWESOME!
A very close family friend of mine was recently diagnosed and is going through chemo and radiation therapy right now. I can't wait for the video so I can share it with her!

That is an excellent cause to support! In some instances it is not only the non-medical professionals that need to be targeted for awareness campaigns. My short history as a physician assistant in radiation oncology has revealed this. I was not made aware of triple negative breast cancer until I watched the Black in America series... I should have been informed about this aggressive form of breast cancer by my supervising physicians/employers.
