We recently had the opportunity to film a wedding like no other. I'd heard of Chris Draft and the Draft Foundation, but had never met him. It wasn't until Friday, November, 25th that we actually met. I found out we are both from Southern California, but more importantly, I found out that this was going to be a non-traditional wedding. A sit down-style wedding, due to the fact that his bride to be (Keasha Rutledge) was ill. We decided to use a two camera setup for the ceremony to make sure we got the shots that Chris desired.
Upon arriving to the church on November 27th, 2011, you could feel in the air that something special was about to happen. The groom was ready, making sure everything was set for this special occasion, even setting up a skype session for his grandfather to witness the nuptials from a distance. Groomsmen were all smiles as they were getting ready. Bridesmaids complete with their custom Team Draft tanks, and ready to assist the Bride to Be with getting ready to walk down the aisle.
Once Keasha arrived, she exited the limo and threw up the peace sign to our camera and we knew from that very moment that we were in for the time of our lives. The ceremony was beautiful and Keasha walked back down the aisle with her new husband with the brightest smile you can ever capture.
We arrived at the reception in enough time to shoot the beautiful decor, and to get the bride and groom as they entered the reception space. The first dance was magical, with Keasha placing her index finger to Chris' cheek to let him know that he was the one she would spend the rest of her life with. The cutting of the cake, toasts, father/daughter dance followed and the bouquet toss was complete with Keasha faking a toss to the waiting single ladies. She cracked a HUGE grin and kept it moving. Quinn and Jukebox kept the party going, performing your favorite jams, while Keasha kept an ear to ear grin, enjoying every moment of the party time.
I was very saddened to find out that on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 Keasha was called home. She fought as long as she could, and decided it was her time to go. Her spirit and memory lives on through this video:
Please lift their family in prayer through this difficult time...

Ynette & Michael Johnson Wedding Day - San Pedro, CA
On June 10, 2011 we were in San Pedro, CA to provide video production for the marriage of Ynette and Michael Johnson. Being that Ynette is my cousin, I knew the wedding was going to be elegant. Well, it was that and more! Fort MacArthur Air Force base was the perfect setting for their beach theme, and the ceremony was beautiful and even included a moment of comedy when the pastor asked for the rings, and the groom's brother pulled out a ring pop! How funny is that? Anyway, enough of my rambling, just check out the trailer here for yourself.

Spirit of Alliance Awards
This Friday, June 17, 2011 we provided I-MAG video services for the 29th Annual Spirit of Alliance Awards, held at the Marriott Marquis Atlanta. The Spirit of Alliance Awards is a celebration for the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council honoring individuals, businesses, and government entities for their contributions to supplier diversity and minority business development in Georgia.
The MC of the evening was Fred Blankenship of Channel 2 Action news and the recipient of the 2011 Blue Legends Award was the Honorable Congressman John Lewis. The event was capped off with an after party entitled "Blue Lounge" where the awards recipients and their guests were able to let their hair down and party like it was 1999.

Behind the Scenes @ IMPACT Easter Services
Each and every Sunday our production team transforms the auditorium of Brown Middle School into the most awesome worship experiences for IMPACT Church. Last Sunday, being Easter, we had an additional service at 6am. This was not popular amongst us production folks, but everyone pitched in and made it happen. I just wanted to share some behind the scenes shots of what our Sundays look like.

No I am not talking about the Dream Team... New Plotter Cut KRJ stickers!!!! It's no mystery that I am a real huge sticker freak. So I was sitting back thinking.... I should get some KRJ Productions stickers made with the new logo and website. Called up the dudes at Contagious Graphics and they made it happen! They came out even better than I expected. So I had to remove my beloved Adidas sticker to make room for the new KRJ joint right on the hand rest of my Macbook Pro and my external hard drive. Check out the flicks!

Kelei Bishop Football Highlight Reel!!!
Kelei Bishop is back on the scene with a highlight video displaying his football skills. This dude was only 8 and 9 years old when this footage was taken, and as you can see below, he is dominating the game. He plays several positions on the field and excels at them all. Enough of my talking, you just have to see this for yourself:

Poston Prose is here!!!
We were recently given the opportunity to create the branding collateral for a writer out of Los Angeles named Leslie Poston. Because of Leslie's unique approach to her craft, we knew we couldn't half step on the overall design for her new company's image.
We designed the logo, business cards, and website (www.postonprose.com) Just like every design process, this took a while but both parties are happy with the end result, and that is all that matters! Take a look below and let me know what you think.

Green Screen Announcements
We had a great opportunity to produce video announcements for our church (IMPACT Church). Our producer wanted them shot on green screen to make the announcements more interactive. We used two fill lights to light the screen and a key light to light our subject. The rest was all done in post production. Most of the graphics were pre-designed. We used Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop to get the final piece. Check out the before and after below:
